We love the softer rubber design of this bit. The Rubber Block Loose Ring Pelham bit was designed to discourage fixing and leaning on the forehand. This softer version of our traditional stainless steel block model encourages suppleness and responsiveness. When the reins are engaged, the rubber blocks apply pressure to the bars of the mouth which advises the horse to lift the balance and soften their mouth.
